[DLP Toys] DLP9077 Super Heroes :: THANOS!! + Chrome Infinity Gauntlet

So finally got to make a review of this. I actually had the same minifigure box before, which I bought on a different toy store in Zabarte Rd., however it just disappeared from my shelf. Like out of no where, its just gone... as if the toy itself went to ashes after Thanos did that snap in Avengers: Infinity War. But I can do it now with the chrome gauntlet I got from the Oblo event last month.

The front shows Thanos, all armored with helmet and sword, but he doesnt appear to be wearing the infinity gauntlet, thats because its not included in this one. Back shows all the other 7 characters you can get and a jet build you can create with the random pieces included on each box.

What's Inside
The pieces are packed in a sealed bag, and a small sheet of instruction is included, which is nice, cause small minifig boxes like this one usually had the manuals printed on the side of the box, unless it comes with mini build.

Here are the big figure parts. Arms are still  attached on a runner, and none of the parts are already fixed on its place yet.

And the back to back instruction manual to build the big fig Thanos, got a little crumpled while removing it out of the box.

Big Figure

Its settled now, with the size of the fig like this one, it is called big figure. I know I used to call those Macro-Figs before, but.. Anyway,  here is Thanos without the helmet and the sword, he only have one print of angry face.

The Titan looks cool already without the accessories. How I wish they instead included at least an arm printed to look like the infinity guantlet.. though some brands I think has released stuff like it.

Figure Accessories
Thanos came with an awesome helmet. He was seen wearing one in the film on several scenes, but he spent most of his screen time bare bald though so I like him more without it. And..*sigh* a sword that wont fit in his giant arms. Dear Duo Le Pin Toys, please include a better weapon next time.

Design Origin

This variation of Thanos is based on his appearance in the 3rd Avengers film. Though he also showed up with different armor, the sleeveless one with no helmet is his more popular look.. but I cant find an image of him not wearing the guantlet.

Damn really wished they have included the Infinity Gauntlet on this one.. and made his head smoothly curved withoutthe peg for helmet.. he dont need anyway.. so lets pull out my Infinity Gauntlet for Thanos..

Chrome Gold Infinty Gauntlet

Theres also one from SY that isnt chrome painted, but I really wanted to get this shiny one.  It was sold only in its sealed bag with no bix, so Im not sure which brand this one came from.

It has a display stand of its own, Im guessing based on the display of that fake one in Odin's vault in Thor Ragnarok film. and it came with 6 runners of all the Infinity Stone, in translucent bright colors.

Some brands sells the guantlet with like only 3 or 4 colors of gens to represent the IS, but this one got all six of them!!

Totally awesome. I like the chrome effect on this one, its really reflective from the lights. 

Thanos with the Gaunlet

Now here's Thanos with the Infinity Guantlet, which is necessarily larger than Thanos' big fig hand. 

Let me re-do the Design Origin shot now.. and have to swap the stones positioning to get it right. That angry face wont be change though.

See how shiny it is with my phone camera's flash on.. it projects perfectly!! Wouldnt it be nice if they also release a Thanos with armor of the same chrome effect?

Ready to snap half of the universe off its existence!! Gaahd I wish I can watch the entire movie again this very moment. Got to see it 4 times in cinema, and feels like its not enough.

Cant wait for the Bluray to come out. Wonder how the gauntlet would look like if its just the same size of his hands.

Over-All Review
I got nothing bad to say about the Infinity Gauntlet, Im living for it. However there are some issues on the Thanos big figure.. first, the sword weapon's grip is a total doozy, and Im not a fan of the face emotion in oarticular but its good I guess. And the figure's foot..

..are fixed and angled to different directions, making it hard to pose on a plate base. They did not give enough thoughts on this one. The original LEGO big fig of Thanos has the foot straighten properly.

Over-all score for Thanos would be 6.5/10, and a perfect 100 for the gauntlet!!
