Kuto is with his friend, Covid.. you guessed where is name came from right. Kuto has suffer some careless keeping thru the time I wasnt able to look after my knock off LEGO collections, he has lost some pieces and some fading in colors happened. Good thing Covid was placed on a better box.

Covid will be assisting me in this blog and on my channel for the meantime. So say hello to my new mascot, Covid!! He came ifrom the same brand as Kuto, and he was also in an egg shell when i got him.

JULY 2020 HAUL

Of course, I wont have any content for my channel without new stuff to unbox, build, and put review here on my blog. So I went to Shopee a couple of days ago to place an order, and yesterday, my first orders came to mail.

Its like an ASMR kind of unboxing, no background music, just the noise in the background and the sound made by the package and its contents, when I unpacked it lol.

So here's what my first package contains:

The first one is a 8 in 1 set from SY or Sheng Yuan, Ninja (ripoff of Ninjago). They are minifigures of the 7 main characters, and 1 villain. They came with mini builts, and 2 of them has a mini dragon build.

As I stated before in one or some of my posts, my favorite LEGO themes were Chima and Marvel superheroes, however I think they already discontinued Chima, and so the knock-off companies stopped replicating them too, so now my new fave is the Ninjago theme.. because of the dragons and the characters too, Im actually binging the animated series on youtube these days to know more about it.

The second set is also a 8 in 1 collection from Sembo, which is also a company related to SY. Its a holiday themed set, featuring minifigures and builds with Christmas theme. One of the boxes doesnt even have a minifigure, but a reindeer and sleih build instead!! 

(I know its still July, bit when I saw this on Shopee, i cant help but get it since the seller where I also got the Ninja sets, only has 1 of this left on stock.. also its cheap, and it has awesome features.)

And lastly, a 4 pack set of bigger elemental dragons from Sembo's Ninja series. They came with 1 minifig and 1 dragon build each. I already own the white one, with questionable minifig character, and i even posted a review and building photos of it before.. 

I still have the white dragon and the minifig, but the dragon has lost some parts of it wings, so I made changes on it and gave it a littpe different look, so i will have 2 different dragons, but with same  features, making them look like a pair.

Please coninue supporting the blog even if it lacked updates for a long time, and also the new youtube channel. I will be making unboxing and building videos of the said sets above, as well as make review entries here too!!

Kuto will have to rest soon, but he will still make appearances with Covid in upcoming posts and videos Ive already been working on.

I also have few more stuff coming from other sellers online, so the blog and channel will be jammed packed for a while.. hopefully, if it finds success, forever.

[Duo Le Pin Toys] NO.515 Super Heroes - Vulture from Spider-Man Homecoming

Long over due review.. Here comes Vulture, the main villain of Spider-Man Homecoming!! He's got an awesome giant pair of mech wings, which is kind ofbulky, but lets get to it..

LEGO did released a set with the same Vulture build, its the van chase with Spider-Man.

[LELE] 34044 Heroes Gathering :: Loki!! and [Sheng Yuan] No. SY254 Heroes Assemble - Jean Grey!!

Today, I'll be making a joint review of 2 different marvel characters from different brands, different media, and different franchise. its Loki from Avengers Infinity Wars, and Jean Grey a.k.a Phoenix from the X-Men comics!!

I may be saying this a couple more times all through this review, but I'm really surprised LELE decided to include him on this set, because he did not have that much of screen time in the movie.

JULY 2018 EVENT: (Part 2) Minifigs Haul from OBLO G2G!!

Like what I mentioned in my previous post, I went to Mcdonalds Kia Theater for the monthly OBLO G2G/convention. Was able to meet other members, and aside from the stuff I bought in the event, I also made trades from online sellers of minifigures and spare parts.

Most of the stuff are second hand, or were already removed from the bag, has no instruction manuals, already built, and packed with other stuff. They were all sold in much cheaper price, and thats the beauty of it!! Hahaha. So I made transactions in Mafia Brick Cart with 4 different sellers online..


MBC HAUL
First one sells minifigs that are still sealed in origina packaging bags..

I got Colonel Sanders (the founding daddy of KFC) and Jollibee (mascot of Philippine fastfood chain, Jollibee), with this beach Batman which comes witha min-build that I cant seem to build correctly due to the lack of instructions..

Well thats how its gonna look for now, but one I manage to find the instructions online, I'll make a review of it, with one of the snags I got from seller number 2..

A beach Robin with fuck lifebuoy!! I also got some second hand figures: a four-horsemen Storm from X-Men Apocalypse, a Santa Claus minifig,  and Joker in Santa Claus costume!!

But thats not the only Joker Santa I got.. because I got another one, and it comes with a wife, from seller number 3..

A different Joker Santa, with Harley Quinn as Mrs. Claus!! Hahahah. And I also got loose Spider-Man, Rajesh Koothrappali (from The Big Bang Theory, which I am currently watching while writing this), a german shepherd fig, and 4 baby groot figures!

Oh.. and also, I bought those grey plates from him, and 38 different head pieces (of different color, prints, and styles), and some weapon builds.

And the last bag, from seller number 4, is my favorite pack..

Because its a bunch of Pirates figs!! (and 15 Pirates of the Caribbean stand plates).  there are 7 minifigs from Pirates of the Caribbean, and 3 yellow skinned pirates (from what I assumed are from the Enlighten pirates), all are second hand..

And brand new Henry Turner and one of the cursed pirates of Silent Mary in Dead Men Tell No Tales. (Sealed in bag with extra hands and stand plates)

Btw, Im not sure if these stands are from the same set and bootleg brands the figures are from, but each has a rotating center piece..

OBLO G2G FINDS
And here are the stuff I bought from the sellers, present in the event.. (almost cost me all the money I brought, as I only had enough for the stuff I bought online, but it was all worth it)

Already built Scarlet Witch (clasic), another Storm (Jim Lee version) cause one cant have enough, Teen Groot (from Avengers Infinity Wars) and a mech-build Groot, which Ive been trying to get since the first GotG film.

Ir also bought 2 unopened packs. The Ronald Mcdonald custom figure, and the infinity guantlet, in chrome colored gold.

EVERYTHING IS AWESOME
Over-all, I went home happily satisfied with all my goods, if only I had won any of the raffle prizes lol. Met new minifig enthusiasts, and will definitely visit the next G2G event. And officially joining The Poor Collector shelf for July 2018 are..

Santa Claus, and the DC peeps; Harley Quinn and 2 Jokers in Santa outft, and Batman and Robin in beach mode.

The Marvel alliance; Teen Groot, Scarlet W., Spidey, and 2 versions of Storm.

The fast food crew; Colonel Sanders, Jollibee and Ronald Mcdonald, with Raj.

And 12 pirates from different series. For a total of..

27 new minifigures, excluding the Baby Groots, the mecha Groot, and the puppy!

[DUO LE PIN TOYS] NO.515 Super Heroes - Spider-Man Homecoming

One of the MCU films that rocked 2017, is Spider-Man Homecoming. Though the first time I got to see it in theaters (went with my pevious work mangers and bosses), I fell asleep in the middle of the movie coz I'm too tired hahaha. But I watched it again like days after. Anyway, today, I am opening this..

I checked, LEGO did not released an original set similar to this. Fake brands really working their asses coming up with their own build designs, based on ripped official LEGO themes.

As I was cleaning one of my closest drawers, I found this box of cheap LEGO knock-off which I remember I bought years ago, even before I made this blog.. but never really get to open nor build.

Probably the cheapest item I have to date, just looking at the product's photograph on the box, you can totally say that the cheap price just fits the cheap materials used.

A little upgrade from my mini-build reviews, for oday's bootleg reviews, I'll be doing a bigger one... that doesnt sound right haha.

So this is one of my new item from my June haul, it's Magneto with his some kind of a Jet build. This one is part of a set series, where you get 2 of the right pairs and together they combine to form a bigger build. However, I only got this one for now.

[LELE + DECOOL] Ninja Mini-Figures + Throwback Figs!! (Ninjago Knock-offs)

I'm not only fascinated by the Chima themed knock offs and bootlegs now, cause ever since the release of The Lego Ninjago Movie, I've been wanting to collect different minifigures and set from the Ninja theme too!! I know I'm a little too late but, here to start my new collection..

I got 2 loose mini figures from different brands and sets!! I also got a bigger build from another brand but I'll get to that some other day. And since these guys are from 2 different brands, I'll make a separate review for them in one post! Starting with...

[WANGE] Wange Monsters 6201 - Eye Beast

When it comes to gimmicks, these bootleg companies who rips LEGO products are just as creative and will always comes up with the silliest way to sell their stuff. Take for example tgis Mixels rip-off from Wange..

It does look like a creepy critter from Mixels, an official series from LEGO,where in you get to build cute creatures with exagerated sizes and numbers of body parts. One thing that Wange tops over everyone elses who rip-off Mixels, though theres not much brands who faked this series, is that they sealed the pieces and parts in an egg-like capsul, making it look like you will have to hatch your little monster.

Off to start my return to toy review and blogging are Wonder Woman and Aquaman from the 2017 DC film, Justice League. Both are part of the 8-in-1 set, and I got them loose, or sold as singles so I didnt manage to get the other 6 for the whole bunch.
